On June 6th, the first "6-Zero Green Building Materials Day", jointly initiated and established by the China Building Materials Federation and leading enterprises in the industry, with the theme of "6-Zero factories leading the industry", was launched in Beijing.

In order to promote the ecological civilization construction in the building materials industry, under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Department of Raw Materials Industry and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's Department of Atmospheric Environment, China Building Materials Federation, in collaboration with China National Building Material Group, BBMG Corporation, China Resources Cement Holdings Limited, Conch Group, Jinjing Group, Huaxin Cement, has initiated the establishment of "June 6th" as "6-Zero Green Building Materials Day." The theme for the inaugural "6-Zero Green Building Materials Day" this year is "6-Zero Factory Leading the Industry."

China Building Materials Federation, in collaboration with its 23 professional associations/institutes and 11 affiliated units/investment entities, has initiated the "Consistent Action for Green and Low-Carbon Development in the Building Materials Industry." The first batch of 60 enterprises and institutions participating in this initiative have pledged to take proactive measures, aiming for the "Dual Carbon" target, exploring carbon reduction pathways, leading the industry with the "6-Zero Factory" concept, and writing a new chapter for green, low-carbon, safe, and high-quality development in the building materials industry.

The signing ceremony for the initiation of the Green Building Materials Product Service Platform project was held.
The event included exhibition boards highlighting the industry's accomplishments in green, technological, and standardization areas. There were booths showcasing the latest green, low-carbon, and energy-efficient products in the building materials industry. Additionally, a creative market featuring the cultural aspects of building materials companies was set up. Interactive activities, including quizzes and a stamp-collecting challenge, were organized to provide attendees with different ways to engage with green initiatives and gain knowledge about the building materials industry.
